Our laboratory works on various aspects of human cognition, with a specific focus on the cognitive processes involved in perceptually-driven actions.   Experimental techniques are based on psychophysical methods.   Current projects   include: (i) the role of perception in locomotion and in the control of hand movements (ii) integration processes between different kinds of information within the same sensory modality (eg. motion and shape for vision) as well as between different sensory modalities ( eg. haptics and vision).
